Halloween Special: Monster High Genderbends - Tut de Nile as Cleo de Nile! [link]

Hey everybody, here's another Halloween Special artwork! If you're a Cleo de Nile fan, you probaly won't like this genderbend... Of all the genderbends I've made so far (not only for this special, but in a whole), this one probably was the toughest ever. No kidding!

Cleo de Nile has a VERY strong feminine energy. Not a juvenile, vulnerable energy like Draculaura's, but a real grown-up woman! Take of her glamour, her feminility, and there's very few things to work with. You don't belive me? Try visualising Angelica, from the Rugrats, as a boy [link] Not easy, huh?

Thus, there is only one thing to do: reconstruct her in a whole new character. If you got patience to read this whole drescription, you will get why those artistic choices... But if you do, that would make me very happy and very glad

1) First, let's try deconstructing Cleo de Nile's character, shall we? Pretty much like Angelica, take away her whole feminility and you end up leaving very left behind, even her biggest flaws and "qualities". Strangely enought, after doing this, we notice that Cleo's got one of the deepest and darkest backgrouns in the whole Monster High arc. Here's why:

Cleo de Nile's (name comes from Cleopatra, the biggest queen of Egypt) is the younger sister of Nefera de Nile (wich names comes from Nefertiti, another queen of Egypt). They belong to a royal bloodline, and were treated like godnesses their whole life. Nefera makes clear that she constantly rememinds Cleo of her place in the succession line of the royal family - wich is behind her. Overshadowed by her older sister and pampered her whole life, Cleo de Nile only knows one way to interact with people: wich is acting like a Queen Bee.

- You can't really blame Cleo de Nile for her behavior... She's the reflection of her older sister, and never stimulated to be or do someting else that their family/servants wanted her to be. After this genderbend, I simpatized a lot with Cleo de Nile, but I also pity her for this sassy and bossy atitude, wich not only made her the "unofficial antagonist", but made she have a lot of other rivals to herself! Her sister Nefera, Toralei Stripe, her pussies Meowlody and Purrsephone - geez, even Clawdeen Wolf wantes her head in a silver platter!

2. Now just imagine, after ALL we discovered here, that she was actually a guy. Yeah, we know it won't get any better! See this face here? [link] Big clue.

Tut de Nile's name comes from Tutankamon, the greatest egyptian pharaoh, that died in this teen years. His older brother, Ramses de Nile, is the next in line for the royal family. Much diferent from girls, boy princes receive a more rigid treatment and bear much bigger responsibility, as the future heirs of the biggest empire in the world. Thus, the pressure over Tut de Nile is doubled, and doesn't only bosses everyone around, but should be the absolute BEST in everything he does.

Besides all that, Tut de Nile preserves some original features, like being the most popular guy in school. He wears a jersey jacket of the casketball team (he is the new captain), got this sassy and kinda bully attitude, and walks around with his followers - including Ghoulia Yelps, the next in line for the genderbend special. I swear, people, that I won't mess up with this one because she's not only got the biggest fanbase, but also has ME as a huge fangirl! Cheers!

(Yeah, I know his legs look feminine, his eyes are a little look a little off and he's kinda shorty... Go easy on me, guys!)

:star: Thank you so much for your faves! I love you guys! :star:
