Monster High OC - Matinta Pereira's Child

Hey folks, wassup? Because the feedback for my last animated Monster High OC was so positive, I decided to make another one! Well, is not a crucial piece of information like the last one, but he can't decide on his wardrobe! Actually, he uses this mantle to keep himself warm... It's a amazonian thing.

Speaking of amazonian, did I ever mentioned this character is Brazilian? Not only Brazilian, but an amazonian like me? Even in brazilian folklore, the Matinta Pereira is a very obscure legend. Perhaps because it scares the shit out adults, so it probably isn't safe for children...

At least here in Manaus, the capital of Amazonas (it almost sounds like Arizona!), I still heart adults telling this tale like it is a fact! Because our city has grown so fast in a few decades, people here are still very connected to their native roots - specially the spiritual ones.

If your question is: But how about, Ananda, have YOU ever seen the Matinta Pereira? The answer would be yes, and no. I've seen and listened to the owl (a real-life animal named after the folklore), but never saw the creepy spirit from the forest. But hey, the cry of the bird itself is creepy enough, I'm not willing to know anything more than that!
